  • Let’s start in Tokyo! From lively boulevards and markets to quiet temples and parks, be exhilarated by this immense city!

  • Leaving the big city and going inland, to the Tochigi Prefecture, you can’t miss Nikko and its UNESCO heritage, temples, Shogun’s grave and shrines. Walk among 500-year-old Japanese cedars to discover hidden forest sanctuaries.

  • Stay around Chuzenji Lake, hike through the wild wetlands of Senjougahara, admire immense waterfalls and witness the natural hot springs pouring into Lake Yu.

  • Then, let's head to the majestic mountain range known as the Japanese Alps, in Nagano Prefecture. Temples, summits, volcanoes, skiing in winter near Karuizawa, wooden castles in Matsumoto, hot springs, wild monkeys and waterfalls.

  • Through the morning mist of the Kiso Valley, with its emerald-green rivers, multicolored valleys, traditional and historical villages, the strong regional identity and unique crafts, you will keep getting enchanted.

  • Finally, let's head to the Kansai region, home to the very traditional Kyoto, the sacred Nara, and the vibrant Osaka. There, discover more of the complexity that has shaped this fascinating and unique civilization.

The exact itinerary may vary depending on the accommodation style and the time of the year.
